An Assessment of Persistent Acoustic Monitoring of a Nuclear Reactor during Full Power Generation
نویسندگان
چکیده
Persistent low-frequency (<180 Hz) acoustic detection took place within the boundaries of Oak Ridge National Laboratory to monitor full power operations High Flux Isotope Reactor. Three sensors were installed at distances 69, 101, and 914 m from northeast corner cooling towers assess four reactor generation cycles. Features extracted spectral density calculations where data collected during on off operations. Diverse features present power, including a 21.4 Hz fundamental frequency ascending harmonics. Using bandpass filters, these related frequencies isolated summed, root mean square energy was calculated. The method isolating summing characteristic provided significant improvement in identifying behavior when raw signals obscured by noise.

the central purpose of this study was to conduct a case study about the role of self monitoring in teacher’s use of motivational strategies. furthermore it focused on how these strategies affected students’ motivational behavior. although many studies have been done to investigate teachers’ motivational strategies use (cheng & d?rnyei, 2007; d?rnyei & csizer, 1998; green, 2001, guilloteaux & d?...
assessment of the efficiency of s.p.g.c refineries using network dea
data envelopment analysis (dea) is a powerful tool for measuring relative efficiency of organizational units referred to as decision making units (dmus). in most cases dmus have network structures with internal linking activities. traditional dea models, however, consider dmus as black boxes with no regard to their linking activities and therefore do not provide decision makers with the reasons...
Efficiency Assessment of Acoustic Cabin for Providing Acoustic Comfort in Turbine Unit of a Thermal Power Plant
Background and Objective: A practical method for noise control in environments with different noise sources is designing an acoustic cabin for the workers. In this regard, this study aimed to assess the efficiency of the acoustic cabin in a typical turbine unit of a thermal power plant to provide acoustic comfort. Materials and Methods: Measurement of the noise level and spectrum, as well as v...
